Hi, I'm Marie!
I'm a student of Digital Art and Technology, and I'm currently looking for some professional experience in web design and development.
I've just finished a 6 month placement with The Inspiration Engine. My main project there was Sparkol ®, an online presentation software tool created in Flash and Flex. I worked as a Flash Developer, building components for use in the presentations. Examples of work from this placement are shown in my portfolio below.
If you'd like to find out more about me, see my CV , see below for my work, or get in touch!
This portfolio shows a selection of my recent work.
Click on the images to link to each project. Enjoy!

TravelPlus
Client University Project
Release Date Dec 2008
Website chrishunt.termisoc.org/travelplus
Info
The Brief for the Semantic Web module was to develop a prototype for a Killer Application using XML. This was our response, a client side JavaScript program which uses a recursive algorithm and an XML public transport timetable, to produce a personalised travel plan. Although I did learn some XML and JavaScript through the module, my main responsiblity on the project was the surrounding HTML and CSS, to create an interface which is modern, stylish and most importantly, usable. As the task was mainly focused on creating an idea, and learning about the concepts proposed by the Semantic Web, TravelPlus does have some flaws, and the algorithm can get 'lost' on some journeys.
